Save money and energy
With as much as 60% of your yearly electricity costs going toward heating and cooling your home, it makes sense to look for ways to reduce your usage. With the HEATING & COOLING INCENTIVE you can receive up to $650 by installing an ENERGY STAR® qualified central heating or cooling system.
Incentives are available for residents and businesses (and businesses with residential-type systems) in Ontario who have purchased and installed eligible replacement central heating or cooling equipment through a participating contractor.
•$250 incentive when you have an existing furnace replaced with the purchase and installation of a high-efficiency furnace equipped with an Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM).
•$250 incentive when you have an existing central air conditioner (CAC) replaced with the purchase and installation of an ENERGY STAR qualified CAC system (NOTE: ENERGY STAR qualified criteria = minimum 14.5 SEER and 12 EER ).
•$400 incentive when you have an existing CAC replaced with the purchase and installation of a stand-alone CEE "Tier 2" level central air conditioning system (NOTE: "Tier 2" level qualified criteria = minimum 15 SEER and 12.5 EER).

ECM Motors
Did you know that variable-speed ECM motors use less energy than a 100 watt light bulb to save you money as well as save our natural resources... ask about a furnace with an ECM motor if you are looking to purchase.
What is an ECM Motor?
ECM (Electronically commutated motor) motors are also called DC motors or variable speed motors. The main features are constant air flow and high energy efficiency. They use less than 20% of the electricity required by standard motors and less than 50% of those utilizing X-13 technology (when in continuous fan operation). Unlike standard blower motors, ECM motor technology provides continuous and gradual fan speed changes. The result is optimized humidity control, dramatically reduced sound levels and one of the best energy efficient furnaces you can buy.

Get your home ready for back to school!
Help everyone breathe a little easier with a high-performing indoor air purification system. An IQ Air Perfect 16 captures over 95% of bacteria, pet allergens, mould spores, dust and pollen. Minimizing indoor pollutants can improve your child’s concentration, as well as help to alleviate respiratory symptoms and allergies, nasal congestion and headaches, which equates to better overall classroom performance and less days missed due to illness.
Another great option to improve your indoor air quality is to add germicidal lights to your duct work. Powerful ultraviolet energy helps eliminate biological contaminants like mould and bacteria. They improve air quality and protects equipment by sterilizing surfaces. They also reduce concentrations of airborne bioaerosols.
